Workshop taught by Chikahuatopiltzin

Sergio Chikahuatopiltzin Quiroz is a Huehuetzonzonkui, researcher, and cultural practitioner with over two decades of experience in Danza Mexica Azteca in the Twin Cities. His focus centers on the Huehuetl — the ancient upright drum of the Mexica/Tolteca — which he approaches not only as a percussionist but as a steward of living knowledge.
