Weave Got to Do Something

You’re invited to join us for Weave Got to Do Something, a free community art event where we’ll transform everyday plastic bags into yarn and weave a collective tapestry together.

Where: 40th Street Park Recreation Center, Multipurpose Room

When: Saturday, November 8 · 1–3 PM (drop in anytime)

Cost: Free · All are welcome

No experience needed—participants can learn in just a few minutes and add their unique strand to the tapestry. Attendees are also welcome to bring clean plastic bags or other materials to recycle (optional).

This is a chance to connect with neighbors, reimagine waste, and create something beautiful together.

We hope to see you there! Please feel free to share this invitation with your networks.
